    The Capability Development Grant is administered by SPRING Singapore.

    The Singapore Business Advisors & Consultants Council is allowed to assess and certify CDG Consultants.

    With effect from 1 January 2017, SMEs seeking CDG support will have to engage management consultants who possess this SPRING-recognised certification.

  • *new* Enterprise development grant (EDG) *nEW*

    EDG Replaces CDG. Effective from 4Q 2018

    Announced in the Singapore 2018 Budget, the new Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) offers streamlined assistance for companies to upgrade capabilities, innovate and go overseas, and will be effective from 4Q 2018.    In the interim, companies can continue to apply for the GCP Grant and CDG through the Business Grants Portal.

    SPRING Capability Development Grant (CDG)

    Are There Guidelines to the CDG Project sum?

    For projects less than S$45k, there is a simplified application process, in the form of a questionnaire.

     

    For projects of more than S$45k, companies will need to need to submit a detailed project proposal.

    How Long Is A Typical CDG Project?

    Depending on the scope and complexity of the project, SPRING CDG Projects are usually completed between 4 to 6 months. Projects needing more time can apply for an extension.

    Do My Consultants Need To Be Certified?

    From 1 January 2017, SPRING requires consultants working on CDG projects possess SPRING-recognised certifications, such as the Practicing Managment Consultant (PMC) Certification, awarded by the SIngapore Business Advisors and Consultant's Council (SBACC).

     

    Who Is Eligible for the CDG?

    You are required to:

    1. Be registered and operating in Singapore

    2. Have at least 30% local shareholding

    3. Have group annual sales turnover ≤ S$100m or group employment of ≤200 employees.

    Are Start-ups eligible for CDG?

    No, Startups will not be eligible for CDG. Startups are , you can try for SPRING SEEDS Capital (SSC).

     

    Do The AmplifyTSA Consultants Certified?

    Yes. The Consultants from AmplifyTSA received their SPRING-recognised Practicing Managment Consultant (PMC) Certification, awarded by the SIngapore Business Advisors and Consultant's Council (SBACC).

    When Does the CDG End?

    The SPRING CDG Grant is expected to be replaced by the Enterprise Singapore EDG Grant in end Sept 2018. The EDG Grant is expected to be similar to CDG, and offer further support from Singaporean companies to expand overseas.

    How Long Does SPRING Take To Review My CDG Application? 

    You should expect to receive a reply from SPRING with within 6 to 8 weeks of submitting your application,

    What Documents Are Required for The CDG Application?

    Your company must have a valid and working CopPass ID, your company's latest ACRA profile, last 3 years' audited financial statements and the consultant's proposal.
